David graduated from the U.S. Military Academy with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. David’s interest in aviation has led him to work on a number of research and technical projects aimed at bettering understanding issues such as fluid dynamics in urban and rural landscapes and developing more efficient turbine vanes for passenger flights and steam-based power generation. He also serves as the Brigade Commander of the Corps of Cadets, the 4,491-member student body at the Academy. David is pursuing an MA in War Studies from King’s College London in his first year. Following his time in the UK, he’ll enter the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant, where he hopes to attend flight school and fly multiple rotary wing aircraft.
