Daniel Dominguez was born and raised in San Diego, CA, to immigrant parents from Mexico. At the age of eighteen, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. Daniel finished his six years of military service at the Presidential Flight Detachment (HMX-1) and then began his academic career at Colorado State University. He has worked on research projects focused on hydrologic issues and the connections to socio-economics in the arid western United States and South Africa. Daniel is passionate about raising the representation of historically underrepresented groups in both water resource issues and STEM.
