A native of Sarasota, Florida, Chris Cantillo will graduate from the United States Naval Academy with a BS in Aerospace Engineering and a minor in Spanish. As a midshipman, Chris was elected Captain of the Offshore Sailing Team and was one of 14 students selected to conduct research as a Trident Scholar. His research aims to analyze the effects of transient wind gusts on shipboard flight operations and is the first wind tunnel work done on the subject. Chris has been selected to train as a Navy Pilot and will report to flight school following his time in the UK.
