Bianca Mulaney, from Lakeland, Florida, is a senior at Harvard College studying Economics and Molecular & Cellular Biology. Her multidisciplinary academic studies (including an undergraduate thesis on the impacts of antibiotic usage in agriculture) and past summer experiences (at Harvard Medical School, the US Department of Health and Human Services, and the Wellcome Trust) have motivated her to work at the intersection of economics and health. As a Marshall Scholar, she plans to study economics at LSE and infectious diseases at LSHTM. In the future, she envisions herself as a physician-economist, policy advisor, and/or healthcare executive.
