Anne Sutton graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with degrees in Music and Geography. As both a classical singer and stage director, she has worked internationally with organizations including the Halifax Summer Opera Festival, the Opera Company of Middlebury, the Dartington Summer Music Festival, and the music departments at UNC, U-Maryland, U-Vermont, and Peabody Conservatory. She completed a thesis exploring the impacts female singers have on composition, and is interested in curating performances that unveil hidden facets of music history and help make “ancient” music accessible to modern audiences. Anne will pursue a Masters of Music in Vocal Performance at the Royal Academy of Music.
