Andrew Pregnall

Andrew Pregnall graduated with degrees in Microbiology and History from Virginia Tech in 2019 as its Undergraduate Student of the Year. In college, he worked to reduce health disparities for sexual and gender minorities by advocating for changes to institutional practices at Virginia Tech’s student health center and Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington D.C., as well as by working with the Vanderbilt Program for LGBTQ Health. As a Marshall Scholar, Andrew will pursue a Health Data Science MSc at UCL, after which he will attend medical school to pursue his dream of becoming a physician.
