Andrew is a graduate of Michigan State University, where he earned undergraduate degrees in Computer Science, Advanced Mathematics, and Statistics as an Alumni Distinguished Scholar and Goldwater Scholar. Driven by a passion for the climate crisis, Andrew conducted research with Dr. Vaibhav Srivastava to develop algorithms for multi-robot systems tasked with environmental sensing and monitoring, and with Dr. Pang-Ning Tan to model meteorological extremes with deep learning. In the UK, Andrew will pursue an MRes+PhD through the AI for the Study of Environmental Risks (AI4ER) Centre for Doctoral Training at the University of Cambridge.
