Nils Peterson, from Washington DC, graduated from University of Wisconsin – Madison with a B.A. in History (Honors) and Chinese. Nils currently works as a China Researcher for the Institute for the Study of War, where he writes weekly updates pertaining to China and Taiwan. Nils also volunteers with the University of Wisconsin Missing in Action Recovery and Identification Project and recently completed his first ultra marathon and hopes to run few marathons while in the UK!
As a Marshall Scholar, Nils will pursue a M.A. in Taiwan Studies at The School of Oriental and African Studies and a M.A. in Politics & Contemporary History at King's College London.
