Alexander Dyer
Alexander “Alex” Dyer, a native of Lithia, FL is completing a dual BS/MS program in Electrical Engineering at Harvard University. He has won awards for his research about cochlear implants and investigation of best operational practices for homeless shelters in the face of COVID-19 measures. Beyond the classroom, Alex volunteers with a youth homeless shelter and participates in the Engineers Without Borders program, where he works with community leaders and local NGOs to develop water infrastructure for 2400-member community in southwest Kenya. At home, he enjoys spending time with his five Australian Shepherds. As a Marshall Scholar, Alex will study Health, Medicine, and Society at the University of Cambridge on his way to becoming an otolaryngology surgeon.
