Mr Simon Morris
Simon Morris is Secretary and Registrar of Keele University, a post he took up in October 1997. He is the Head of the University Administration and Secretary to the University Council and Senate. A graduate of Durham University, he joined Keele after a long career in the Royal Air Force.
Within the Royal Air Force, Simon Morris had a wide experience of facilities and estate management, personnel management and financial management and planning. He is a graduate of the Advanced Staff Course of the Royal Air Force Staff College and a Fellow of the British Institute of Facilities Management.
He represents Keele on the Association of Heads of University Administration; he is also a Director of Keele University Science Park Limited and Keele Facilities Management Ltd.
At local level, Simon Morris is a Board member of the Regeneration Zone and Vice-Chair of the Newcastle Local Strategic Partnership. He is also a member of the Lord Chancellor's Advisory Committee on Justices of the Peace in Staffordshire.
Married with three sons, Simon Morris is a keen golfer and a passionate follower of football, particularly Stoke City.
