Assata Davis, from Roswell, Georgia, is majoring in Political Science with a double major in Spanish and Arabic at Rutgers University. Assata has co-founded True Inclusion, a student initiative to push for racial justice, resulting in the transformation of the Honors College curriculum and community practices at Rutgers University. She has worked as an Immigrant Justice Corps Community Fellow, supporting New York City's undocumented community as an accredited representative under the Department of Justice, and has interned with the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights during the lead-up to the 2020 presidential election. She has studied international human rights law, Arabic, French, and Spanish during two semesters of study abroad at Universitat de Valencia in Valencia Spain, and Sciencespo Menton in France.

As a Marshall Scholar, Assata plans to study Strategic Communications at the London School of Economics and Refugee and Forced Migration Studies at the University of Oxford.
