Maeve Janecka, from Purdys, NY, studies Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering, with minors in Biology and Spanish at Georgia Institute of Technology. She has won many awards related to her high scholastic achievement, research contributions, and work as a teaching assistant for her Thermodynamics II class. She’s active in her community as a Medical Assistant for an Atlanta clinic that provides healthcare for low-income families. Outside of the classroom, Maeve is a yoga instructor and Chief Justice of her school’s Undergraduate Judiciary Cabinet. As a Marshall Scholar, she will study Women’s and Reproductive Health at the University of Oxford.
