Charlotte d’Halluin will graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Naval Academy this coming Spring. She serves as the Commanding Officer of the Naval Academy’s Formula SAE team, which works to build the US Navy Racing Team’s first electric vehicle from scratch. She is also Captain of the Navy Women’s Rugby Team, and winner of two College Rugby Association of America D1 national championships. While in the UK, she plans to study energy and sustainability, researching ways to decarbonize military bases and bolster resilience to climate change. She will commission as an Ensign in the US Navy upon graduation and serve in the US Navy’s Submarine Force after completing her studies.
