Evelyn is a graduate of Harvard University, where she studied Neuroscience, Romance Languages and Literature. As a Herchel Smith Research Fellow under Dr. Edward Boyden at the MIT McGovern Institute, she harnesses molecular and computational models to develop novel technologies for mapping brain architecture. A dedicated educator, she founded CovEducation, a nationally recognized non-profit that aims to bridge the K-12 academic achievement gap. In the UK, Evelyn will pursue a PhD in Neuroscience at University College London, continuing her research in neurotechnology. She hopes to pursue a career at the intersection between neuroengineering and refugee health to bridge healthcare disparities.
