These Scholarships are for Graduate Study in any subject at either Masters or Doctoral level at the University of Surrey and will be for up to two years (with a possibility of a third year for doctoral studies). If awarded a Surrey Marshall Scholarship candidates would be expected to study at Surrey.

At the University of Surrey, we have a long history of welcoming international students from all around the world. We currently have over 120 different nationalities represented so you will be certain to get a truly international education. Our beautiful safe campus is situated in the historic market town of Guildford which is just 34 minutes by train from central London and close to both London Heathrow and London Gatwick airports.

The University guarantees University accommodation to all international students for the duration of their course. There are over 5000 rooms of different types to suit all budgets, banded A-E based on price and amenities. Approximately 50% of the rooms have ensuite bathroom facilities and all residences are self-catered.

In 2010 the £36 million world-class Surrey Sports Park opened just a short walk from the campus. The Park hosted 16 Olympic and Paralympic teams for pre-London 2012 training camps including GB Basketball, Singapore, USA Triathlon and Chinese Synchronised Swimming. It is the permanent training base of Aviva Premiership champions Harlequins Rugby Union. It caters for a host of sporting activities and houses a 50m 8 lane Olympic swimming pool, 120 station gym, 6 squash courts and a climbing wall.
