Exeter Marshall Scholarship

This Scholarship is for Graduate Study in any subject at either Masters or Doctoral level at the University of Exeter and will be for one or two years. If awarded an Exeter Marshall Scholarship candidates would be expected to study at the University of Exeter.

  • Biosciences –  top 10 in the UK for world-leading and internationally excellent research (REF 2014). Highlights include the Centre for Ecology and Conservation and Living Systems Institute.
  • Classics and Ancient History – 6th in the UK (Complete University Guide). A leading UK centre of expertise in Hellenistic and Greco-Roman culture. 
  • Drama – 3rd in the UK in the Complete University Guide. 79% of research classified as world-leading or internationally excellent (REF).
  • Economics – 11th in the UK (Complete University Guide). FEELE Finance and Economics Experimental Laboratory one of only two such facilities in Europe.
  • Education – the roots of the Graduate School of Education predate the University itself.  UK acclaimed reputation in Education and Teacher Training; ranked 6th in the UK for world-leading and internationally excellent research (REF)
  • Engineering – 9th in the UK for General Engineering (Complete University Guide). Highlights include Water and Environment and Materials and Manufacturing,
