60th Anniversary Marshall Alumni Lecture

World Renowned Energy Expert to Lecture on “The Quest:  Energy, Security, and the Remaking of the Modern World” on 6 April 2016.

Pulitzer Prize winner Dr Daniel Yergin, will give the final 60th Anniversary Marshall Alumni Lecture at the University of Edinburgh at 5.30pm on Wednesday 6 April 2016.  Dr Yergin will speak on Energy, Security and the remaking of the Modern World.

Dr Yergin is a 1968 Marshall Scholar and is a highly respected authority on energy, international politics and economics. He is the Founder of IHS Cambridge Energy Research Associates and Vice Chairman of IHS. He also serves on the US Secretary of Energy Advisory Board and has chaired the US Department of Energy’s Task Force on Strategic Energy Research and Development.  He won the Pulitzer Prize for his book “The Prize: the Epic Quest for Oil Money and Power”
