As a Marshall Sherfield Fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, Jackie will study enteric pathogen exposure risks along the food supply chain in communities in Kenya and Mozambique. Jackie’s research interests exist at the intersection of public health, microbiology, and environmental science and engineering. She is particularly interested in the environmental transmission and health effects of enteric pathogens in low-resource areas. Jackie has worked in the interdisciplinary water, sanitation, and hygiene sector for over 10 years and received her PhD in Environmental Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2019
