Marshall Sherfield Fellow Gabriel studies Artificial Intelligence with a focus on Computer Vision and the perception of human and animal motion. Previously, he has researched topics in Solid State Physics, Virtual Reality, Robotics, and Animation. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and an MS and PhD in Computer Science from the Georgia Institute of Technology. His non-academic activities include rock climbing, swing and salsa dancing, and when possible, skiing and other sports involving alarming speeds. As a Marshall Sherfield Fellow, Gabriel will work at the Vision & Robotics Group at Cambridge University.
